To All Bowls BC and Vancouver and District members.

This year we are having two major youth bowling events in Ladner, BC.

The Provincial Juniors Championships and an open Youth event, these have been advertised very well but I want to reach out to the club members in the Vancouver area to come out and support these events.

Ladner is a lovely old village, there is an open air swimming pool immediately across the road from the club. There is also an excellent senior centre immediately across from the Ladner Lawn Bowling Club with a cafe also a major new shopping centre in the area. Need I say more.

I believe it is time for us to get behind the youth bowling movement in our area. We have many rising stars and we need to let them see we admire them and support them.

The Junior Provincials July 6th to the 8th.

The Open Youth Tournament July 24th.

I look forward to seeing many of my bowling friends at these two events.
