Coaching Registrations Now Open

Registrations are now open for coaching courses to be held in the V&D this year (2018).

Club Coach Course will be held at North Vancouver LBC on April 14/15 9am to 5pm both days.

Competition Coach Course will be held a Granville Park May 26/27 9am to 5pm both days.

All registrations are done online at the Bowls BC website www.bowlsbc.com. Navigate to the site and click on info and Docs then select coaching courses. Click on the down arrow in the blank select your course box. The available course will be displayed select the one you want and continue with the registration by filling in the Attendee information.

The Club Coach Course is meant for people who want to coach new bowlers.

The Competition Coach course is for people who want to coach at the provincial or national level. Therefore the attendees should have at least 5 years experience as a bowler, or previous coaching experience in our sport or another sport.

It is important to remember that these courses are not meant to teach you how to bowl. They are meant to teach you how to coach.
